I want to grab
ahold
of you.
Like reins attached
to a horse.
Hold you in my palm,
have you rest there
for a sec.
I’ll be gentle,
I promise.
You can tell me if
I’m rough
and coarse with
my hands.
I’m trying to get better at that.
I just want to pull you
between my fingers,
like a yarn thread.
I’ll glide you through
them
one
at
a
time.
It won’t take long,
I’ll just need you for
a couple of seconds,
then
you can go back.
